Okay this started when i created a more formal email address to handle more formal emails.
Writing sockss@hotmail.com didn’t seem very intellectual when I was filling in scholarship applications huhu.

Then I thought why not I change my blog url too.

Been having this new url for some time but have yet to use it.
Please don’t kill me for changing it again!
I know I know I dam ma fan right so now you can choose if you want to link me or not. *although I hope you will.

I don’t even know why I came up with sockss.
Honestly, I don’t even wear socks alot.
I think it started with my super lame attempt when I started sockss for jockss.
It really has no meaning and frankly if you think about it, it sounds kind of wrong. Sigh.
I think it just sounded cute and such.

This sock-ish however wasn’t my first choice.
I couldn’t get socks.blogspot.com and I couldn’t get it either when I added 2 or 3 “s” behind socks.

Im still wondering how to import all my contacts from my old email to new one on msn.

Today I listened to the radio only to have the host wake me up when she said, “Tomorrow is the last day of the year”.

I stoned a little because, although I knew we were approaching the end of the year, it didn’t hit me like that.

Well yes 2009 is coming to an end, and I keep hearing/reading people say how much they’ve enjoyed the year and feel the heaviness to leave it behind.
Honestly, I am too. What bugs me is why. I cant seem to put my finger on “why”.
Maybe because Im not done with the year yet.

Countdown of 3 days till the new year.
Did we really ever imagine we would end up here?

Ive been having moodswings (urgh benci),

Just had a home Christmas eve dinner with the family.

Small scale this year.

but good homecook beef, salmon, baked potatos and mashed :)

drank a little alcohol and help my sister finish her portion.

could feel my skin heating up but kept going.

I recently had the urge to drink, so I did, just to satisfy my urge.

Drank a little too much and ended up puking, drinking tea and taking a nap :P

all on Christmas eve. hohoho. Woke up just in time before it was 12am!

What are the odds to winning a game of Solitaire?
I wonder, are there any chances that you just cant win and that you just WILL lose?

Ive pathetically thrown myself into a series of Solitaire.
I don’t get why Ive been on such a losing streak.

Is there really a possibility that it is sometimes designed in a way that you just cannot win?

Ive carefully observed and monitored my steps but end up losing either way.

Most of the time I end up realising that Ive made the wrong moves all before I realised again that Ive ruined the whole sequence, everything.

Solitaire has an undo button, reality doesnt.

Are there always winning chances in each hand that Ive yet to realise, or do we just keep losing until we win again.

I refuse to move on until i win that hand, or just keep losing again and again before stop, pause, open the page and try again.

Today he did the sweetest thing by coming ALL THE WAY to Nottingham to suprise me :)

He thought I was home already since I come back on Thursday occasionally, and was already on the way to Kota Kemuning but u-turned and headed to Semenyih around 9pm –ish which was at the other end, despite running low on credit, not knowing the way and almost out of petrol.

& he brought me a gift! (I don’t know why you cant just give it to me when you see me on the weekends but thank you :] )
The 2010 Starbucks planner ive been wanting to get (!!)
Plus its compatible with my 2009 Starbucks planner, so I can take it out and attach it to my leather binder.
It costs alot just for a planner OR you have to drink 11 Starbucks drinks to get it for free.

Jesslyn and I in the midst of filming our video.

Of everything random:

Busy week is finally coming to an end.

Just 3 more test before I start my end year break but still have to prepare for finals in January boo :(

Super busy/stress week.

Over at the other's rooms every night after dinner till the midnights working on our projects.

But as of tomorrow, 2 assignments, 1 video, and 2 reports will be cut off.

My week was fairly okay until I came back to my room today and was packing up my stuff.

Found mould/spiders/spider webs pratically all over the place which pisses me off.

Ill be having a 3 week study break in a few weeks and I dont know what my room is going to turn into when I get back.

A room full of spider webs. sigh. disgusting.

Have been forced to cook more this week too which is so tiring. :(

The waiting is also another thing because I fear I might burn the kitchen down.

one day I heard familiar loud laughs outside my room and when I opened my door, all i saw was fog. Turns out, everything got burned and went into smokes. hilarious but almost fatal.

New Moon was alright.
Im abit disappointed but I don’t hate it.
Didnt like the beginning because I felt there were alot of empty and unnecessary scenes that could have been put to better use.
Started to like the build up of the movie but the ending made me go crazy.
What kind of ending is that :( [note: I did not read any Twilight books so I don’t know what was about to happen-which explains the shocked I had]

Overall, dont love it, dont hate it

Walk around aimlessly before heading for bak kut teh!
Then we headed to Snow Flake for desserts huhu.
Bought the best seller for my parents and they like it too.

Hello from home once again :)

Supa hectic (and irritating) week but thank God its over and now, we just have to brace ourselves for much more to come :(
We manage to finish our Maths assignment in 2 days ;)
When we were given 2 weeks. :P
3 down! 3 more to go and frankly im much more worried for 2/3 of them.
& we’ll be starting out filming the coming week.

The much anticipated reunion that was scheduled tomorrow is cancelled. :(
Nuuuu. Was so excited!
But to compensate that, we’ll be watching New Moon tomorrow with ALL my favourite people (!)

Had a nice dinner date with my dad today because my mom had her own function.
He took me to eat ribs and potato skin with cheese.
Then we went to walk around a bit with some father daughter talk time and went home.
I am really grateful to have a dad where I can have a date with. :)

I like blogspot but sometimes I wish I had the option to seal my post.
Gives me a green pass to completely blah.

Its good to get things off your chest but sometimes you’d just have to know when to contain it for a better day.
Its been too long down this road and we are all questioning our actions.
Timing is (certainly) everything.
I wished Id never took that survey,
I wished Id never answered that call- It is etched so clearly in my head that I remember the exact moment from what I was doing, what I wore, where I was and where I sat down to realise, -there is no turning back.
I cannot tell you enough of how much bad judgements ive commited but yet I am not entirely discouraged because still, some good came out of them.
I have about a little more time to construct the most reasonable solution, but from the way I see it, Id lose both ways.
I cannot tell you what will happen in the future, because it is so subjective.
From what I can tell you, I don’t know how Im going to bear about 156 times of unhappy days.
I know what is at stake here, and thats why I fear, that you’d hate me and Id hate myself too.
None of you have to apologies because one day I might too, and I hope you’d forgive me too.

I take my days with You in my mind, because I believe You are here.
Im reminding myself of the better days after a storm, and I hope this is Your test & I am here to tell You, I still have my faith in You.
I know I havent been the best disciple You want me to be, but I know that You still have a plan for me and the future.

The end of the year makes me feel as if im on holidays
along with everyone else.

Went lunch with Xin Yi who is back for a few weeks, Nicole who just finished her exams, Lillian, Kay and Han Qi who are all on holiday.
Went for shabu shabu at puchong and I like. Ive been having fondness for steamboats/shabu shabu etc.
Then xy, nic, lilly and I headed for girlie bonding, ice cream and shopping.
Lillian drove because we haven’t had the privilege to sit in her car hehe.
Next up shall be Nicole ! *nudge nudge
Somehow everytime I go out with Lillian she ends up buying something :P
Funny I don’t feel like shopping lately, I am suprise myself.
Girls usually find shopping as a remedy for stress, but I somehow loose the mood for shopping.
The good thing is I get to save money huhu

Went out with Darren, Alex, Kenneth and Lily today and watched Astro Boy.
Hmmmm, I do not recommend it. Haha! That is all I will say.
Tried Korean BBQ where we were all totally clueless of how to eat.
I guess its something like steamboat Korean style.
Shabu shabu best lah.

Rushed back because busy boy has been/still is a very busy busy person.
Sigh, no time for me :[

Despite the lack of attention (hmph!) I am still the best girlfriend because I woke up early today to bake blueberry muffins!

plus i baked them home alone under no supervision.

Browsed through my folders and looked at the photos i took throughout the 5days 4 night trip to Sepilok, Sabah with BRATs around a year ago.

I cant believe I was thinking of not going when I got the call.

Super grateful I made the decision to go.

And super grateful for my parents to fish out the expensive expense!

I remember losing any form of connections from anything else back home cause they kept our phones till the final night.

Good move because our hearts were in the trip.

Miss everyone! and especially the photog group ;)

The rain was so crazy today.
Had to walk back in the rain and shivering like mad.
Im not one to stand cold. Slightly more sensitive than the average person.
It really felt like -18 degrees and by the time I came back my ears were hurting.
Felt like my ear drums were about to explode.
Came back and had a battle with myself on whether or not I should take bath cause, would you get strike by lightning when you bathe?
I wonder.

Havent been doing much with the time constraint I have last weekend.
Didnt get to watch 2012 but from what I heard its not bad.
Hoping to catch it soon and I’ll be expecting lots and lots of thoughts to follow through.

Having a full day tomorrow having class from 9am to 6.30pm tomorrow plus exams.

Caught the 2nd bus to Tesco because we were being too civilised.
The trick to getting on the first bus is to push your way through haha!

Had KFC for dinner but had a bad reaction to the coleslaw (i think).
Not sure if i could consider it food poisoning but I threw up a little when we got back.

Anyways, shopping for groceries was kinda fun.
For a moment I felt the spur of independence because how often do you see a bunch of teens walking around buying detergents, vegetables and whatnot in a supermarket, not to mention at night! huhu.

Amy, Joey and I did the stupidest thing ever today.
Its too dangerous to mention what we did here for the fear of having our scholarships being taken away by JPA :P
Definitely funny and stupid .
Our actions only portray how much we actually DO need this scholarship haha !!

The other day I had the unusual mood to be hardworking and cook rice for dinner but was scarred for what would probably last for a semester :(
After all that trouble I went through :(
End up having the most crappy dinner and whenever I think of rice I feel like puking.
Why? Because my canfood didn’t have the top opener and I didn’t have a can opener so I was forced to eat egg with plain rice.
My close friends would know that I HATE eating plain rice.

Have Moral quiz tomorrow and rumours said that its hard :(
I don’t understand why Nottingham makes LAN subjects so hard to pass.
3 test, 1 assignment, 1 report, and 1 presentation all due/taking place within a month, when we could really be at home studying for more worthy things.

Alas, I cant wait to go home tomorrow!

Had the most tiring day today of classes from 9am-5pm.
Tiring.
Cooped up in my room now with lots of working waiting for me but I really don’t have the heart to do any of them nowadays. :(

Have been feeling extremely detached from everyone and everything lately.
Im grateful for the friends I have here, and back home of course.
But something hasn’t been right.

I don’t usually put this so straight forward and “out there”
I feel alone without being alone.

I suddenly miss family too although I get to see them every week compared to my friends here.
But sometimes seeing them for just 1/2 days and then packing up before you leave again makes it a little harder, because every week I have to wish them goodbye again and again and again up on my window before I see them- again.
I really don’t like saying goodbye, never have and never will.

Everything is just getting overwhelmingly exhausting.

Hello from the lazy one.

Accounts test was so-so. Not as hard but not as easy either.

A few more tests here and there and rushing to finish up on the heavy loads of assignments before the end of the sem :)

But before that, I have to endure the horrible week of having 6 days of classes this week :(
Will not be coming home till sat.
So i’ll be going to Tesco with all the hostel people, Kajang style :P
I believe they are more excited of me going than I am O_O

My friends are so easily amused, especially by me.
Just because Im a banana they laugh at every mandarin/canto/hokkien/hakka thing I say.
Im not that bad ok!!
They thought me how to order spicy pan mee and many more. Ahhaha

RM 3 for a bowl. Happy happy joy joy.

We went to Broga for pan mee today and the spicy pan mee almost killed my lips and made me sweat more than if i ran 5 rounds around the basketball court.

Watched Time Traveler’s Wife and it was so touching.
I really liked the story line.
Not the average love story (but still is), I like like like.

Hoping to catch 2012 this week.

Im feeling so happy now because this weekend my friends are finally free-er to layan me.
Despite that they STILL have exams.
Sudah sangat gatal to go out for shopping, which is the plan for tomorrow and the usual Friday night dinner that I can only go when I come back on Thursdays.
Then hopefully a date on Sat because I wanna watch The Time Traveller’s Wife (!!!)
Im actually in a mood to camho too *shy.

Its gonna be a long full day for the coming weekend and Im a little afraid I’ll be unprepared for accounts test on Monday :(
I really don’t have the heart to study when im back on the weekends argh.
Hopefully can find the time to squeeze it in.

Economics test was------ confusing?
I changed 3 answers during the last 1 minute. Fingers cross it’s a good decision.

SOOO much work to do :(
IT assignment 2 due next week,
Management assignment due in 2 weeks (still confused :[ )
Business Discourse assignment due in 3 weeks
IT assignment 1 due in 4 weeks (Have to create our own website from scratch, ie: HTML)
Moral assignment due in 5 weeks.
And we have Math assignment which will be given next week.

Throw in a few test and quizzes here and there and you’ll see why I LOVE the weekends when Im back here and I feel like im on vacation. Sigh.

Sadly my class is until sat next week HUHUHU.

In between all that we’re planning to film a short video for our moral report/presentation on Abortion.
Its not compulsory and I don’t know why we want to make our lives more compact when we have so much going on but I CANT WAIT HAHAHA. Excited :P
We randomly got the topic out of many others but its some sort of inside joke we have.
Hopefully it’ll turn out good.

I can remember everything from how it felt that day to what we actually did that day.
Standing near the stage and taking pictures.

While we counted down the days to SPM and we just went to school to chat and camwhore instead of studying.

sidetrack: back when I was in form 1, I went over to the form 5's and saw them lingering around like what we were doing and wondered to myself, why arent they studying, dont they know SPM is around the corner??

now I know that after all the exams we sat through, by then we are either prepared or we weren't & the smartest thing to do would be the cherish every moment we had in school. If you didnt bother, you'd just skip school.

Super MIA from the blogosphere lately.
Didnt do much this few weeks cause friends are mostly having/will have exams.
And when they’re done, i’ll be the sole person to be studying for exams. NUUU.

Darren bought me lunch and came over to sleep haha! Cause he was awake the whole night studying (or at least I hope)
No complains, cause at least I get to see him.
Well, yes I only see him once a week or 2 times tops.
Sad, I know. It almost feels like a semi-LDR, but im glad we’re alright. (:

Well since my social life is rapidly sliding, Ive been a couch potato.

I remember in high school that Nicole, Xin Yi, Lillian & I would ask each other random questions about life and whatnot.

and Nicole asked that if we could have a whole room of a collection of something, what would it be.

Nicole said books, Lillian said cds and I said movies/tv series. (I forgot whats Xin Yi's answer oops :P )

Other questions include us interrogating the guys of their opinion on girls and the stupidest/best answers.

Its good to know we stilll see each other whenever we get the chance :)

My week has been on the downside.
I dont know why ive been so grumpy.
or grumpier than usual.

Stupid assignments piling up and im just so afraid i dont do it right cause assignments are suppose to boost your marks up right?
In this case, id rather not have assignments but assessments :(

Another thing is the heat accumulating in my room!
I cant open the door cause people walk in and out of the kitchen door located directly outside,
I cant open it in the evening cause the evening sun gets in, & when i open it at night some rude, ignorant idiot keeps playing some loud rocker music that really annoys me.

Week 4 of the 2nd semester.
8 weeks to go.
Time does fly. We’re almost 1/3 done.

It sucks so badly that my last day of college this year is Dec 19 :(
6 days before Christmas (?!)
By that time everyone would have already done everything *sobs
Adding to that, I have only a 3 week holiday or actually, study break.

Meaning that I have to study for my finals on Jan 11 within those 3 weeks.
THEN, the 3rd semester starts instantly after my finals.
NO break.
I hate hate hate the UK calendar :(

On a lighter note;
I felt guilty for missing Business Discourse today.
But I did manage to spend it relatively wisely :P

Went to find Darren during his 2 hour break and went to SS15 because I was so curious to try out Face to Face Noodle House.
Not bad lah, I’d go back soon to try out more. ;)
But the Honey Milk is soooooooo addictive.
I have the sudden urge to get me some now.

Oh btw;
Have recently been on a phone crazy extravaganza.
You really cant blame me, sometimes my phone don’t vibrate anymore or wont let me call.
I usually pitch in whenever I buy a new phone.
Of course I don’t pay the full amount of it, but I usually pay a fair share not because I have to, but because I want to.
It just feels so much better when I know that Im paying part of the cost with the money I so diligently save on a daily basis, with a plus of knowing that im deserving it.

I have currently 2 phones in mind.
1 has 3G, secondary camera and GPS while the other doesn’t.
But as you might have known, I try not to get a black coloured phone because I just prefer a white one. & this one only comes in black while the other has pretty white!

Good new is I wont be having Moral studies every Friday (!!)
Bad news is I have to come back on some Saturdays. :( 4 Saturdays till the end of the year to be exact.
& I have class on Fridays AND Saturdays during one of the weeks. *emo.

Imma dump that all aside for now and focus on the happier things.
Like.. I'll be seeing Darren later to catch Surrogates.

Decided to be an introvert this week and secluded myself the whole week despite the clubs and society’s happening events.

Today’s 6 hours class was tiring.

Tuesday:

The days are passing so slowly.
Will not be having class next Monday yay!
Should be because of Deepavali, and IT teacher is an Indian. :D

So i'll only have to come back here on Monday night.
Finally, I dont have to come back here on Sunday.

Its week 3 of the 2nd semester and we're gonna have test soon. sigh.

The internet connection here is depressing, despite having maxis broadband.
So much tv shows to watch but with such limited connection!
Im getting sick of waiting for it to stream.

Highlights of the week

Yann Yi and I went high and low to attempt to switch to group T from group S. Its not that we dont like the people in it, its just that all of our other friends are in group T and we're the only 2 chinese girls from July intake in B3 :( (I know this makes no sense to other people)
Alas, it was all fruitful :) After 5 days of hunting for potential people swappers, we did it.
So now I dont feel so miserable.
Had dinner with the usuals with on Friday and had a cake for Han Qi (Happy belated birthday!!)
Played with Bailey where he behaved a little usual because he started humping our arms. Brought him to my house to meet my dog.
My dog got chased by Bailey and even got humped (despite them being both males) and now, is proven useless. My dog I mean. The whole scene just reminds me of Sundance and the duck from Click.
Almost twice the size and 5 years older he ran away from Bailey. sigh. sucha cute little thing. :D *sayangs
Did NOT go to Sunway Pyramid this week. I just told my mom on Friday that we never fail to go Pyramid every week. But im not saying I hate it, Pyramid has everything dont you think? PLUS, its the nearest compare to KL.
We went to One Utama instead :D
If only I had lots of money and a big appetite (with a high metabolism), then I could go to the hawker and order everything I see.

Good morning all,
I came back yesterday evening cause no Moral Studies this week.
Sigh, 6 hours of Moral Studies every week on Friday commences next week :(
which also means I only get to come back on Friday. *boo.. :(

Friday mornings is always quiet.
Parents working and everyone else at college.

Watched a documentary this morning and realised that Ive always have this love/fondness for musicals. Ive never went to singing/dance classes or whatsoever but have participated in them when I was younger like carolling, performanaces etc.
I get goosebumps when I see the neat explosion of syncronised dancing and singing even just from watching on tv, then I realised Ive always loved it since I was young.

I wonder if i'll ever get to have those takes again.

Anyhoos,
I cooked lunch in my hostel's kitchen yesterday (first time).
While waiting for the water to boil I took a panorama picture of the kitchen. haha.

From left would be the fridge & entrance to dining area, the microwave and the long table top, the 2 pathetic portable stoves (I think only 1 works), the basin and the door out of the kitchen and if you look closely, you can see my room door directly outside the entrance.

If you look out the window you can see the other hostel buildings.
Im on the 1st floor. (1 floor above the ground *just incase)

The bright side about staying in front of the kitchen is I dont have to trouble myself by locking the door and stuff when I go boil my water cause I can see it from the kitchen.

The bad thing is, the kicthen door creaks so I can hear it open/close every time.
Sometimes people go to the kicthen at 1am or 2am.
I cant help myself from having creative imaginations of "piao piaos". Blame my stupid floor mates for always talking about them (!!) :P

what happened on Sunday.

Kay and I slept at 1am that night.

We were suppose to sleep earlier but Darren and I kept playing with Bailey (Kay's dog).

Woke up at 5am pretty easily (suprisingly) and headed to TBS for the bus.

After warms up and etc, on we went for our runs for our respective caterogries.

Our group flagged off at 7.40am.

Me and Kay walk and ran occasionally; not that we didnt plan on running, we just dont have the juice for it anymore. *sigh

& I feel so embarrass because a 10 year old boy was just as the same pace as us.

One or two veteran males (over 50's) even cut us and a few males in the 8km run (double our 4km route) passed us too.

This is how unhealthy we have become since high school.

sighs again.

Anyways, well, i got 100th out of 300 + people.

& I feel so jinxed!!! because the lucky draw winners were number 102 and 103.

If only I ran slightly slower at the end I could have won :(

fyi, Ive never won a lucky draw before.

I think im never lucky in life. *sighs #3

My internet connection sucks today rendering me lifeless.
Work hasn’t exactly started yet, so not much to do.
Wanted to post on the run & other stuff i did but uploading one picture takes ages.
So, I spent the whole day devouring in my tv series stash and reading Jodi Picoult.

Had a good, fast and tiring weekend. :)

I have yet to sleep from waking up at 5am this morning after a 4 hour sleep.
My eyes are little heavy now after a long day today.

I know its a little weird that its only showing in Pyramid but definitely a good movie to make you laugh in a smiley way.
Dont trust the trailer if you’re planning to YouTube it because it does not do the movie justice.
Planning to get the DVD cause thats how much I like it. :D

Was a little disappointed with Sorority Row.
Didnt suck but not as good as I expected to be. Perfect Getaway was actually better to me.

So if you’d ask me, Id say go watch 500 Days of Summer if you need to choose. :)

Heading out in a bit then will be overnighting at Kay's because we, along with Han Qi and Eugene, have to wake up at the utmost ungodly hour.

Its only because we agreed to join the AdverntuRun on Sunday organised by Sky Adventure Club of Taylor's.

Its a charity run for Paws actually. good cause, i like :D

okaylah, mainly to support our dear friend, Lynette. (and Lay Wing)

Dont you just love having such good friends like us.

So yeah anyways, gotta be at Taylor's at 5.45am (!!!!!!) then to Cheras, where we'll be running our 4km run.

You have NO IDEA how long has it been since i last ran or even exercise.

Since I stopped attending basketball trainings and the MSSD season passed, I dont believe I have ever exercise to the extent that I can consider myself to perspire.

And actually same goes for the rest of us.

I think ever since we left high school, sports was not really an agenda or entertainment but more like a burden to fit into our busy schedule, because we'd rather go out or just bum around like couch potatoes.

I am actually a little scared for the run hahahaha.

But its all in good fun *consoles.

Its high time we start sweating.

Currently sweating from my lizard hunt.
Was reading my novel on the floor while almost falling asleep when i saw something moving, coming from the toilet door and there I saw the disgusting lizard.
It crawled behind my cupboard and i attempted to lure it out with my mosquito repellent.
I think I ended up cutting my own life shorter.

So I had no choice but to call Zoe the hero (heroine) because she’s hardcore like that.
She caught it with her bare hands without hesitation, something most of us cannot do. I’d say she has a gift. *bows

Super tiring day of walking back and forth and my megavideo is being an ass.
Let me watch my seriessssss.

Coming home tomorrow cause no moral studies this Friday.

So what the lecturers always told us again and again
“enjoy while you still have the campus to yourself” was actually true.
Which we never really understood and took for granted.

The uni is now jam packed and everyone is everywhere all the time it gets a little annoying.
Cars are everywhere, the basketball court if full & the worst thing is there’s no place to sit in the cafeteria :(

Apart from all that, I am close to hating the new time table and groupings.
We’re divided into 4 groups joining the April and September intake.
Most of my intake are in the first group leaving only a pinky of us in the others. :(

Why do I always have this luck of being disoriented and shun out from everyone else?

Sigh. I can never really settle down.

Tomorrow’s schedule also kinda sucks.
9am-11am, 4 hours break because no tutorials on then 3pm-5pm class.
I hate the walking back and forth.
Hmm, i think in total i’ll be walking almost an hour tomorrow if i take the long route (15 mins x4).

Sometimes I really wonder when my four leaf clover would work its magic.

26th Sept : Movie with Darren, Han Qi & Kay
watched Perfect Getaway. I've always been a fan of Milla Jovovich so the movie was pretty nice. A movie you can watch if you have nothing else to catch.

Time to snap back to reality and head back to the hostel tonight.
The one week break was bitter sweet to me
it was good to stay home meet people, old and new and just live life like how it used to be,
on the other hand, i wish all this would just continue to be my life.
After all this while, i wish i could permanently come back here.

I know this might sound so crazy and unme-ish but i believe ive just found the phone I want. :D
No exposure of what model it is because its due to release in October and fingers cross it actually makes it way into the market and not get cancelled.

Im not a very tech person and was never really a change-phone-everytime-person.
I get a new one when the old one dies on me, which is the very case now. (dying not died)
& everytime i get a new phone I pay part of it too.

The only mismatch about this dream phone is the colour which only comes in black but I can put that aside compared with the features i want.

Met up with Adrienna (finally!!) the other day,
The que for the movie was soooo long but we managed to chat right through the entire time.
I’d say at least half hour.
Had lunch when Ivan joined us, omg how long has it been since i actually talked to you.
Then we watched The Ugly Truth which was okay lah..

Had tea with them after before heading home.

Had fun and it was really nice to talk to you (again, despite how much we talk already) haha!

Well hello, i am so happy to say that Social Science is out of my life (or at least for now).
Aside from the fact that the paper was horrible,the immense relief that comes with finishing it is sooooo relieving.

The one thing I commend on living on campus is that you don’t have distractions.
The only possible thing would be your laptop/computer which I locked in my desk yesterday because of the fear of it distracting me.

Okay apart from all that let me tell you of our hardcore study week.

I studied till 2am yesterday and woke up at 7am before sitting for the 11am exam.
My crazy mates on the other hand are wayyyyy hardcore than I am.
3 took a nap from midnight till 3am before heading to the computer lab to study till the exam.
The others slept later than me but woke up earlier, only getting 2 hours of sleep.
O_O

The horror...

Well the amount of pressure it is to study plus the pressure of not doing enough comparing myself to the mates is insane :(

Well since Im on this topic let me tell you some grandmother stories.
Back in standard 1 I got 3rd in my class, and having a best friend (Yen Mei) that was smart as Einstein made me study a little harder so that we could be in the same class every year.
I got lazier and stared falling back around standard 3, but i picked myself up again because I had this crush on this guy that was really smart too and I thought he only liked smart studious girls, so I studied harder to be like Yen Mei (cause I thought he like her). Sad to say, after being in the same class with Yen Mei for 11 years (wah my wish came true) , I have never EVER succeeded in beating her. :(
Well after that it came the self satisfactory to work hard and my paranoia of breaking down if i don’t know how to do a question because I will shake and shake and shake,.

After this week’s hardwork, mother even told me I could go out all I want ,everyday (although I wont lah) but my point is, knowing that doing all this is well appreciated, makes it a little more worthwhile.

The exhausting week and still the worst is yet to come.
Social Science :(

Finished IT and Business already and I was really relieved that I was able to do the practical questions for IT.
I was having some sort of emotional scare thinking about it. But subjectives were awful.
Sigh.

Business was alright, I meant I knew the answers and all but given 1 and a half hour to write two 20 marks question and two 30 marks questions, is really NOT ENOUGH.
I panicked a little when I realised I’d spent half an hour writing the first answer.
Managed to finish it at the least but could have done better.

Wed : Math & English part 1
Thurs : SOCIAL SCIENCE & English part 2
Fri : Economics

& then Im done!!

I cooked breakfast on Friday morning wanting to make scramble eggs but forgot to prescrambble them like how i usually do, so in the end it was just a fried egg and I forgot about the oil spurting out from the pan when you crack the egg in a hot puddle of oil. (not sure if any of you get it-----)
My pointis, I forgot how its like to cook *sadly. I used to cook all the time :(

Spend dinner with mommy dearest and we had to go Pyramid to send a letter internationally at the underground post office place thing.
Coincidently I was told Miss Felicia Chong was having her birthday dinner at Bubba Gump so I dropped by for a short while :)
It was so nice to see you all again and make me realise how much I miss being around you all. *sigh.
Sorry couldn’t join you guys for dinner as ive just mention, i couldn’t abandon my mom to have dinner alone right.

OH-MY-GOSH

My life has been so monotonous everyday.
I wake up, walk to class, have class, walk back, study/complete assignments or portfolios, & (attempt to) sleep.
While it repeats again for a few days.
m-o-n-o-t-o-n-o-u-s.

On Monday night it was particularly hard to sleep because there was literary a cow moo-ing outside my room. -_-
And first i psyched myself out by thinking it was someone “wailing”, so i knocked on my next door neighbour’s(Amy) door and asked if she heard it too.
She did but was scared to acknowledge it, since you know; what if you alone heard the sound while people around you didn’t.
But a cow. -_- the next day it was gone though.
It was probably slaughtered for some buka puasa feast i assume. (?)

The first night back is always hard to sleep because you get so used to sleeping on your own bed at home, and by the time I get used to the bed in the hostel, for all I know it’s time for me to go home.
Sudahlah i already have some sleeping disorder, this makes it even harder for me to sleep O_O

Next week would be the finals of my first semester which is killing me because all this is just too new.......
Its already hard to readjust what ive learn from Sunway to what im learning now. The terms, the formats, the ways of answering etc..
because, what both institutions want is different.

Proof of being abused by my college mates.

Went over to Yann Yi’s (aka Kakak )room at 9pm + for our IT assignment discussion yesterday
I was prepared not to sleep that night because dealing with Microsoft Access, you sort of have to get it done asap cause the more you edit files, or closing the file then reopening it, etc... the bigger the file gets. We only had a certain limit so it was a do it once and for all thing.
There was no such thing as undo either. -_-

But we managed to complete it up till 3am leaving one question behind which we thought we could spare for a next day.
Still wondering how to answer it though.
anyone knows how to use the marco function on switchboards?

I realised i haven’t been properly blogging.

The long weekend was alright, but cant wait for the upcoming one.

FINAL DESTINATION IN 3D PLEASEEEE.

As much as I enjoy my thrillers I can never seem to sleep after.
Lay Wing’s story the other day at Bak Kut Teh made me sleep in my parents room for 2 nights and when I came back to my dorm, I could barely sleep. +_+
The lizard which ive yet to hunt down for didn’t help either with the “tsk tsk tsk” sound.

But i still want to watch :D

Yay im ending my classes at 1pm this Thursday which means going home a little earlier than usual.
But of course all that comes with a price---
Classes at 9am everyday and ending at 6pm tomorrow.

With powerpoint presentation on Thursday, Business Assignment due this week & IT assignment and English Assessment 4 to hand by the end of next week.

Another weekend gone :|
Time to face the coming week of group assignment and the horrible feeling of having to prepare for the upcoming exams.

So far, we’ve sat for English, Economics and Mathematics and they’re all just plain horror!!

Honestly one of the hardest papers ive sat for. O_O

Since when is English this hard??

Its no wonder that the head said that we should be celebrating if we even got 65%. Sigh.

My dog came home from his walk with a sudden cut on his paw.
We rushed him to the clinic which was closed already but opened just for us.
Apparently he had a nasty cut; so deep that one of his toe nail came off and he has to go to the vet again tomorrow to be tranquillized and medicated. :(
Right now, his paw is bandaged by a pressure bandage and he can barely walk plus he has to wear the cone (of shame- from UP hhehee).

Wished I could be home to help take care of the poor little thing.

I have sudden cravings for cabonara or anything Italian.

Well apart from all the nonsense above,
I am not excited to go back to hostel tomorrow.
No surprises there.

Happy self purchased Nike bag pack well needed for those days with heavy books and loongg walks.
Declined the offer to carry one back in Sunway because I didn’t deem it needy but with the currently routine, its the best solution to cure back aches.

Bought it with my hard earned JPA money. :D

Well not being calculative or anything, I was quite pleasantly surprised at the price tag that didn’t even hit 3 digits.

The place Darren keeps going on and on about everytime we pass by. Hehe.

Went blanked while deciding what to eat at Han Qi’s place so I suggested it since I am quite curious myself.

Its actually a pretty nice classy place.
Nice to whip out the dSLR and pass time aimlessly.

Oh yess not forgetting,
We mainly went dinner to celebrate Wai Hong’s belated and Jefferson’s birthday. Happy birthday!!

Watched District 9 with momsy the other day and it was okay.
It was messy and slightly boring at the beginning but got better after. Sad ending!
Wouldnt recommend watching though, especially to those who arent into aliens and those stuff.

Watched Up with Darren on Thursday (while I was still in college clothes cause I just came back from Semenyih and havent even went home. O_O )

It was soooo cute and lovable and touching all the same :)
There were some parts that really made me teary.
Super recommended! and infact, im gonna watch it again with mom next week cause she wants to watch it too. maybe 3D this time? hehehehehuuuhhaha

Up (movie) is coming out this 20th August and i am SOOOO excited!
I have been talking about this since long agoo ok and now I cant wait to watch it.

Feeling rather stingy lately although we've already received out monthly allowance from JPA :DD.

The upside of living in the hostel is you get to come back from class, relax, have dinner and walk 15 steps to their room late at night for discussion.

I am typing this in my room as we speak and i'll only be heading back to my little dorm tomorrow morning.

Super pms week with things that can trigger impromptu pms either way.

These are the reasons why I never want to leave because now I am left with pot holes to fill.

Pearl Harbour ripped my heart out :(
An oldie and classic and something I would rank as high as Titanic.
I spent 3 hours watching it today while enjoying the thunder & rain.
( Hey my wish for rain came through :D )

I never knew Pearl Harbour was directed by Michael Bay.
